As Underwriting and Policy Issuance Director, Janet is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of underwriting guidelines and practices for BerkleyMed. She also oversees the Policy Issuance process and provides service support to the Managing Directors on assigned accounts.
Janet has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry, with 20 years dedicated to the Healthcare sector. She worked with an insurance company and then various national brokerage firms before joining BerkleyMed in 2003. Janet has served as a consultant, managing the placement and service needs of healthcare clients, with special emphasis on providing policy analysis, developing Captive policy forms and evaluating language of Self-Insured Trust coverage documents.
