As Vice President, Risk Management, Jane is responsible for the direction of the Risk Management services department. She provides support of proper risk evaluation in the initial underwriting and renewals of company insureds and assures that the department is continually evolving to meet the changing needs of BerkleyMed clients and their brokers. Jane participates with other BerkleyMed Risk Management Consultants in providing value beyond insurance in direct client services such as conducting surveys, providing on-site education, and offering individual client consultations year-round.
Prior to joining BerkleyMed in 2005 as a Risk Management Consultant, Jane was a Corporate Director of Risk Management for a self-insured integrated health system for 13 years. Her responsibilities in healthcare risk management included loss control, claims and litigation management, and risk financing.
Jane’s 13 year clinical experience in Pediatric Critical Care nursing, included nursing management as well as contributions to hospital-wide quality initiatives.
