As Underwriting Director, JoAnn has responsibility for the development and implementation of underwriting protocols and guidelines for BerkleyMed.

JoAnn has over 20 years experience in Health Care Professional Liability, specializing in underwriting healthcare systems, hospitals, physicians, long term care facilities, managed care organizations and miscellaneous healthcare facilities. Prior to joining BerkleyMed JoAnn spent 10 years with a large reinsurer. Her responsibilities included management and development of a business portfolio concentrated in the Midwest, as well as national accounts. JoAnn’s experience also includes product development and management responsibilities with a large insurance carrier.
