Steve has oversight responsibility of potential high exposure claims along with the development and implementation of claims policies and procedures. As Claims Manager, Steve’s role also includes claims analysis, on-site review, creative resolution of complex claims, and litigation management.

Steve was formerly with a large insurance carrier as Regional Assistant Vice President of Health Care Claims. He was responsible both operationally and technically for Health Care Claims in D.C, Maryland, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. He was responsible for the oversight and management of high exposure complex medical malpractice claims in this region. He spent several years managing environmental claim coverage issues. He spent 26 years in the industry in various Regional and Field positions.
